3 reasons why missed call number will not work

You will not get account balance information by giving missed call on balance inquiry number mainly due to three reasons –

1 Indian Dialling Code

There are some banks in which you have to use +91 in front of the number if the missed call facility is not working.

2 Link Mobile Number to Bank Account

If your mobile number is not linked with the account, then the balance information will not be available, for this –

  • First of all reach your nearest branch.
  • Get the form for updating personal details.
  • Enter name, account number and active mobile number in it.
  • Then put your signature to self-attest. And
  • Finally, submit the Aadhar card and passbook along with the front copy.

(This method is for new registration. You can use net banking to update mobile numbers only.)

3 Register For Missed Call Banking

yes| This can also be a reason because to take advantage of this facility in some banks, it has to be activated first. For which the information of each bank is different, so you can click on your bank in the missed call number list given above to get information or you can also Google it.

The country is going digital very fast and if you go with it then you can save a lot of time and money.

For this, you just have to install a good online payment app , which will not only tell you the account balance, but will also make many other tasks easy.

So let’s know how to see the balance from the app –

1 How to check balance with Google Pay ?

  • First open Google Pay and enter the password.
  • Now scroll down and come to the bottom.
  • There tab on View Account Balance.

(If you do not have any app yet, then it would be best to use Google Pay.)

#4 Check balance with Account No?

Let me tell you that this facility is not for general bank holders. Only those persons who would have received any pension, subsidy, Jan Dhan installment or any assistance amount from the government, they can check the balance from their account number.

1 First of all go to PFMS Know Your Payment .

2 Now you will get to see a format like this.

3 First of all, by typing the name of your bank, select it.

4 Then you have to enter your bank account number twice.

5 Now by entering the Captcha Code, click on Sent OTP.

6 After which OTP will be received on your Aadhar link registered mobile number.

7 Submit it after entering it here and your account information will be in front of you.

#5 Check balance with SMS Banking?

You can use SMS Alert when none of the methods work.

For this, you have to fill the form by going to your bank and tick on Send SMS for Every Transaction in the application.

After which after submitting the form, whenever money is debited or credited from your account, you will get its information through SMS.

Now many people must be thinking that the information will be available only when the transaction takes place. But if we need to check the balance at any point of time, then what will we do?

For this let me tell you that you can use apps like Google Pay or Phone Pay for all kinds of small transactions. After which you will get the balance information on every purchase.
